new year

I’ve been waiting to post my New Year’s wishes for a picture of Skye with a collar. Since yesterday, I’ve been (re-)trying to put it on her, but it’s so hard. She goes away if she sees it, and when I manage to put it around her neck surreptitiously I can’t snap it close as she struggles to escape. She hates so much being restrained, even for just a second. Will need more desensitization and zenness… Meanwhile, here is a cute picture of her kissing me :)
